Game craft – a gaming centre

The gaming centre was designed in a former apartment in an old tenement house in the city centre of Katowice. The investor wanted us to create computer stands, places for card and board games as well as a place from which a person could have a full control over all rooms. The last requirement resulted in an idea for a new functional structure.

Former hallway became a command centre, from where one could supervise all rooms, whereas a new hallway was created outside so that people could move between all rooms. The command centre is found in the middle and has a shining Blob-shape thanks to which it stands out from the dark surroundings.
