The statuette was designed for the Marshal Office of Silesian Voivodeship and handed out during an event recapitulating a yearlong project titled “Śląskie. Tu działamy” (“Silesia. Action Here and Now”) which included an initiative “Lokalni bohaterowie inspirują” (“Local Heroes Inspire”) among others. The statuettes were handed out to people – LOCAL HEROES – who consequently change the world, emphasising its values and importance of community bonds.
