We had a chance to say a word about what we do in a new book ‘New Silesians. City, design, identity’.

Silesia is… unobvious, imperfect, complex, contrast. Zofia Oslislo-Piekarska’s new book is a collection of interviews with activists, artists, architects, ethnographers, art historians, culture experts, musicians and designers who change the region by their art and design. The book is a research attempt of semantic design inspired by silesian culture and heritage. Recently semantic design had a significant influence on framing the local identity.
